Child Protection in Practice (micro-credential)

Description
This micro-credential is designed to build on existing introductory knowledge and skills for people who work with children and young people. Through a mixture of self-directed online and in-person learning, you will develop the ability to explore the wider context of child abuse in Aotearoa.
Participants will also strengthen their understanding of child protection practice and gain the skills and confidence to support safe practice within their organisation and contribute appropriately to the wider child protection system.
This course includes four self-paced e-learning modules and a two-day in-person workshop. You will have five weeks from registration to complete the e-learning, before attending the in-person workshop.
