Developing a network of other Designated People can be incredibly valuable. It creates opportunities to share experiences, bounce ideas off one another, and support each other in the shared responsibility of protecting children across your communities, schools, and organisations.
Description
These sessions provide a supportive virtual space to come together, learn, ask questions, share ideas, and connect with others who understand the responsibilities and challenges of the Designated Person role. We recognise that this role can at times feel overwhelming, so we’re here to support you in your role on an ongoing basis.
Each Learn & Connect session will include:
- Focus on a specific topic relevant to your role
- Explore a scenario related to that topic
- Provide space for discussion and for your questions to be answered
